Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a GYMGUYZ Fitness Manager for our Hartford, CT location. As the Fitness Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, managing fitness operations, and providing personal training services. This position offers part-time hours initially, with the expectation of transitioning to full-time within three months as personal training hours increase.
Responsibilities:
- Sales:
- Generate new leads and business opportunities through various channels.
- Conduct assessments and effectively communicate the value of GYMGUYZ services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to overall revenue growth.
- Operations:
- Manage all aspects of logistics including scheduling, verification of sessions, and vehicle assignments.
- Become proficient in and ensure the use of the GYMGUYZ Fitness App by all team members.
- Ensure that the GYMGUYZ vehicle(s) and equipment meets standards for cleanliness, maintenance, safety, and security.
- Ensure that the team has a high level of knowledge with respect to GYMGUYZ training programs and equipment.
- Ensure proper inventory of equipment.
- Emphasize importance of team member involvement in the community and neighborhood
- Manage the Client Satisfaction & Results (CSR) Process.
- Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere that enhances the quality of service and care offered to the clients.
- Resolve client complaints in an expeditious and tactful manner following the GYMGUYZ procedures and documentation process.
- Personal Training:
- Deliver personalized and effective training sessions to clients of varying fitness levels.
- Conduct fitness assessments, develop individualized exercise programs, and track progress.
- Educate clients on proper form, technique, and nutrition to maximize results.
- Administrative:
- Utilize solid computer skills to manage client data, schedules, and progress tracking.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Customer Relationship Management) is preferred.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and personal training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Certified Personal Trainer and CPR/AED certifications required
- Previous sales experience in the fitness industry
- 1-3 years management experience in the fitness industry including managing people
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a passion for health and fitness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel daily for work and possess a dependable vehicle.
Compensation: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
